Lost Highway on Hulu
A buddy has been raving about this movie for the last couple of months, telling me that I need to see it. Thanks to Hulu.com, I now can. I have added it to my queue and can watch it anytime I want to, for free:

Lost Highway
David Lynch delivers one of his most renowned masterpieces in this mysterious and surreal film. Bill Pullman plays Fred Madison, a man who begins receiving disturbing video tapes in the mail of him and his wife (Patricia Arquette) sleeping.
100 Pushups – Day 1 v2
10 days ago, I found this website. A six week program which when completed would lead anyone to be able to do 100 consecutive pushups. The introduction and explanation made a lot of sense to me, so I decided I would pledge to complete the program. I started that day, one day before we started packing theInLaws truck in preparation for theMove part 2. That was a mistake. Muscles that I didn’t know I had spent the next 4 days screaming at me, while I was packing for two days, and then driving a big diesel rental truck. I did not continue the program on the road.
Instead, I have restarted my pledge to complete this 6 week program this morning. The program makes too much sense to me to not give it a second try:
why push ups?
Push ups are one of the basic and most common exercises for the human body. Push ups are not only great for your chest, but do a tremendous job of defining your abs, triceps, shoulders and torso.
Push ups can be performed no matter where you are, and best of all, they are completely free – no expensive equipment or annual gym fees required! If you’re looking to develop a great chest and shoulders, you could do much worse than follow along with the hundred push ups plan. Your core strength will also go through the roof too!

O H I O
We are back in Ohio, at long last making oir final push home. 152 miles to go, then the unpacking phase will begin. At least I can rest knowing I’ll be sleeping in my own bed tonight.
Day 5 – The Final Day
We are all gassed up and on the road heading for home. I will be so happy to be home. Not that the rental truck hasn’t provided me with a comfortable seat for the trip across, but my ass could use a break from sitting. I know that’s all I do at work all day, but at least I can stand up and stretch when I want to there.

The Longest Hour
The longest hour of each day has consistently been the last hour of driving. Today we’ve got an hour and a half left and time is already dragging…very….slowly. At least tomorrow is only a 300 mile day.
Linner
We planned on eating a late lunch today so we could eat in Davenport, Iowa with a view of the Mississippi River. We found out, however, that we should not have waited, as there was no restaurants near 80 in Davenport, or the next city, Moline, Illinois. In fact, we didn’t find an open restaurant until a little city called Princeton, 60 miles, and an hour and a half later. Our late lunch worked out to be an early dinner.
We’re back on the road now, heading for Merrillville, Indiana.
Heavy Fog Advisory
We’re driving under a heavy fog advisory and it is thick out here. It makes me wonder though where the fog comes from here? With all this land and no big lakes I wonder if it rolls in off the rivers, being between the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Looks like I have something to look up to pass the time. Or not, depends on how bored I get.
Side note: Speaking of rivers, II did not know until yesterday that the Missouri River is longer than the Mississippi, even though it is a tributary of it. Learn something new every day out here on the road.
Day 4
Day 4 of theInLaws Move is underway. We just left Omaha and are heading for Merrillville Indiana, which is just on the other side of Chicago tonight. We’ve been lucky enough to this point to not hit any rain, but I think we may be testing that luck today to see if it will hold.

Hypnotic
Looking at row after row of corn fields is very hypnotic. Good thing I’m not driving right now. By the way, is there anything else to look at while driving through Nebraska?
Leveled
We’re currently rolling through Nebraska and just witnessed an area which was recently leveled by a tornado. I have seen this kind of damage on the TV, but never first hand. The barns and trees that were hit were destroyed. I hope I never see this type of damage first hand close to home.
